Develop and implement global regulatory policies related to liquidity for HSBC, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and requirements
Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and changes, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders within the organization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, legal, and compliance, to ensure alignment and consistency in policies and procedures
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential risks and challenges related to liquidity and develop strategies to mitigate them
Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in liquidity management and incorporate them into HSBC's policies and procedures
Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory policies on HSBC's liquidity position and make recommendations for improvement or changes as needed
Communicate and engage with regulatory bodies, both nationally and internationally, to represent HSBC's interests and ensure compliance with regulations
Act as a subject matter expert on liquidity-related topics and provide guidance and support to other team members and departments within the organization
Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to liquidity management, including developing long-term plans and initiatives to improve and optimize liquidity position
Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as clients and partners, to ensure transparency and compliance with regulatory policies and requirements.
