The Commercial Banking Representative II serves as a primary contact between commercial banking clients and the bank, assisting Commercial Relationship Managers in servicing clients across various loan types, including large and complex loan portfolios. This role is crucial in maintaining and expanding client relationships by providing comprehensive client support services. The representative is expected to work proactively to maximize client satisfaction and encourage the growth of these relationships. The position requires a solid understanding of the assigned area and accounts, developed through frequent client interactions and adherence to standard procedures. Essential duties are performed independently with limited supervision, emphasizing the need for strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include handling day-to-day client calls, transactions, and problem resolution. The representative responds to client inquiries, performs account maintenance, and resolves issues efficiently. They execute transactions within their delegated authority, escalating any requests that exceed their limits to the assigned Relationship Manager. This includes managing transfers, withdrawals, wire transfers, and other loan and account operations as requested by clients. Additionally, the representative assists in gathering necessary information for loan applications, such as financial statements and business documentation, and may collaborate with outside vendors for various services related to loan processing. The role also involves specializing in loan documentation, ensuring accuracy in legal loan files, and preparing client account documents for meetings. The representative is responsible for submitting complete and accurate requests for documentation in accordance with loan approvals and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. They maintain a thorough knowledge of all regulatory, legal, and credit policy requirements to ensure compliance in all applications and documentation. Furthermore, the representative generates reports, reconciles client accounts, and maintains a working knowledge of key software systems and loan operating systems. Overall, this position is integral to the bank's operations, requiring a blend of customer service, compliance knowledge, and banking expertise.
Responsibilities

? Assist in obtaining necessary information for loan applications, including financial statements and business documentation.

? Specialize in loan documentation and ensure accuracy in legal loan files.

? Prepare and review client account documents for meetings between the RM and the client.

? Submit complete and accurate requests for documentation in accordance with loan approvals.

? Provide complete packages to Loan Servicing for Boarding/Funding.

? Support commercial relationship managers with legal entity validation and real estate collateral documentation.

? Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering policies.

? Participate in required corporate and business line training.

? Generate or obtain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as assigned.

? Maintain positive working relationships with peers and other business unit team members.
Requirements
? High School diploma or equivalent required.

? Three plus (3+) years' banking experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

? Advanced understanding of credit products, bank systems, and commercial lending.

? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
