About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to join our Personal Lines Underwriting team as a trainee. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the growth, profit, and loss objectives of the team, while developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
? Support the Personal Lines Underwriting Team with growth, profit, and loss objectives.
? Develop new Personal Lines business through effective sales strategies and relationship-building.
? Assist with underwriting activities, including policy selection, classification, and determination of proper coverage.
? Process policies, endorsements, and cancellations efficiently and accurately.
? Understudy professional staff to gain expertise and knowledge in underwriting practices.
? Evaluate and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
? Contribute to departmental projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
? High school diploma or equivalent required; comparable work experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
? Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills essential.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for success in this role.
? Valid driver's license required; ability to travel when necessary.
