Your role in our mission
Help create the power in Gainwells processes as we develop purpose-built technologies and solutions that yield better health and human services outcomes.
The Provider Enrollment will be responsible for supporting provider enrollment/screening into the Rhode Island Medicaid program.
Primary responsibilities include reviewing and processing Medicaid, and provider enrollment applications according to Medicaid-approved enrollment guidelines, ACA, and other federal requirements and procedures.
Update and maintain accurate provider files, including documenting information such as license, Social Security Numbers, Tax ID numbers, and any other changes to the provider file.
Respond to written correspondence received from providers relating to enrollment issues as needed.
Ensure all departmental and Medicaid quality and quantity standards are met.
Uphold customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
The role will require knowledge of Windows-based programs and a familiarity with basic office equipment.
Will be working with both Gainwell Technologies and State liaison each day.
What we're looking for
Customer service experience
Ability to perform extensive research independently
Ability to follow written policies, procedures and guidelines, and give feedback to leadership.
Self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret basic to moderately complex documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and government/healthcare guidelines.

Business hours are 8:00 am ET - 5:30 pm ET.

The pay range for this position is $29,100.00 - $41,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
