About the position
The QA Engineer position is a critical role within our software development team, focusing on ensuring the quality and functionality of our web applications. In this position, the QA Engineer will spend approximately 60% of their time on manual testing and 30% on automation, with the remaining time dedicated to other quality assurance tasks. As we are launching a brand new platform, the initial focus will be on manual testing to ensure that all functionalities are thoroughly vetted. A typical workday will involve developing new tests, executing them, and documenting the results. If any defects are identified, the QA Engineer will collaborate with developers to implement fixes and re-test the software to confirm that the issues have been resolved. The role also involves coaching team members on best practices for using testing tools, reporting results, and driving process improvements within the QA function.
