Job Summary Ellison 8 is a cardiac surgical step-down unit. Seeking an experienced RN for this 36-bed adult population unit, caring for patients with all aspects of heart disease appropriate for surgical intervention. - Common diagnosis includes coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, aortic disease and congenital heart disease. -Patients on Ellison 8 are after heart surgery, including: coronary artery bypass graft, valve replacement, Heart Transplant and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) placement. -Patient teaching is strongly emphasized with respect to cardiac risk factor modification. Qualifications - Current Massachusetts RN required - BSN strongly preferred - Must have at least one year of nursing experience - Telemetry experience is preferred - Must be able to work day/night rotation including weekends and holidays You contribute to our success.
