About the position

The 2025 "Career Arc" Returnship Program at Societe Generale is a six-month paid internship designed for professionals looking to re-enter the workforce after a career gap. This program focuses on providing meaningful work experience in the Inspection & Global Audit Division (IGAD) while helping participants refresh their skills in the financial industry. Interns will engage in various stages of the audit process, contributing to the overall mission of the Audit Division, which conducts independent audits across Societe Generale's global operations.

Responsibilities
?? Working independently and responsibly on assigned tasks

?? Actively participating in all stages of the audit process: planning, testing, report drafting, and recommendation follow-up
,
?? Participating or leading periodic continuous monitoring meetings and annual risk assessments
,
?? Effectively communicating with auditees, developing a good relationship, anticipating and understanding any potential issues, and timely escalating when there is an issue
,
?? Preparing high quality workpapers that support any findings and conclusions

Requirements
?? A minimum of a 2-year career gap
,
?? Knowledge in finance, accounting and internal audit functions
,
?? Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
,
?? Strong background in internal audit
,
?? Good discipline
,
?? Minimum years of industry experience: 4 years
,
?? Language(s): English

Nice-to-haves
?? Last Corporate Title of Vice President, Executive Director, Director, or Managing Director
