As a Clinical Eligibility Reviewer, you will play a crucial role in our clinical operations team. This part-time, fully remote position requires you to review electronic medical records (EMR) of cardiac recovery patients to determine their medical eligibility for our services. You will provide essential clerical support to the enrollment team by reviewing patient charts, identifying or creating cardiac rehab referral orders, and communicating eligibility decisions through concise documentation. Your ability to make quick, independent decisions using good judgment will be vital in this role, as you will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive the appropriate care based on their medical history and current health status. This position offers flexibility in working hours, with shifts available during the day or evening, and requires a commitment to attending team meetings as needed.

Responsibilities
?? Review EMR records of cardiac recovery patients to determine medical eligibility/ineligibility for Recora Health.

?? Provide daily clerical support to the enrollment team by reviewing patient charts for medical eligibility/ineligibility.

?? Identify current cardiac rehab referral orders or create cardiac rehab referral orders when needed.

?? Communicate patient eligibility and ineligibility to the enrollment team through concise documentation within appropriate platforms.

?? Conduct patient registration review and insurance benefits verification.

?? Assist with special projects as needed.

Requirements
?? LPN or RN credential required.
,
?? 3-5 years of clinical experience in cardiac care required.
,
?? 3 years of experience with EPIC or general EMR systems.
,
?? 1 year of experience with medical terminology.
,
?? Proficient computer skills, including experience with Zoom, Google Suite, and EPIC EMR preferred.
,
?? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
,
?? Excellent clinical assessment and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves
?? Experience with Citrix EPIC access.
,
?? Familiarity with RTE, Zendesk, Google Suite, Zoom, and Teams for GHS Epic training.

?? Knowledge of TIBCO for verification of OON referrals.
