Bookkeeper Needed for DJ & Photo-Booth Business
MBM DJs & Events, a growing DJ and events company specializing in weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings, is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and organization of our business. This is a part-time, remote position with flexible hours, perfect for an experienced bookkeeper who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, looking for supplemental freelance projects.
Responsibilities:
?? Manage and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
?? Track income and expenses, ensuring accurate categorization and reporting.
?? Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss reports.
?? Process invoices and ensure timely payments to contractors and vendors.
?? Monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
?? Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
?? Collaborate with the operations team to manage event-related financial transactions.
Requirements:
?? Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in the events or service industry.
?? Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
?? Strong understanding of financial regulations and bookkeeping practices.
?? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
?? Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
?? Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
?? Experience with payroll and contractor payments is a plus.
