Part-time Faculty - PhD in Data Science
Description: ?? Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on various assessment activities. ?? Maintain a positive, safe, inclusive student-centric learning environment. ?? Complete required tasks on deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessment, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals, etc.). ?? Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, when applicable. ?? Provide feedback to the course lead regarding the course content. ?? Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services. Requirements: ?? Doctorate in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related field required. ?? 2+ years of practical or research experience in building Machine Learning or Deep learning models in Python, and/or R programming required. ?? 2+ years of research or practical experience in the field of Data Science or Data Analytics required. ?? 1+ years of teaching experience in data science, Data Analytics or Data engineering preferred. ?? Experience serving on doctorate dissertation committees preferred. ?? Experience is preferred in: Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras AutoML, and AWS SageMaker. ?? Predictive Analytics and forecasting in different disciplines. ?? Experience with online teaching in higher education with working adults, preferred. Benefits: ??
