Requirements: Valid Rhode Island teaching license with Special Education endorsement Master's degree in Special Education or related field Minimum of two years classroom teaching experience in special education High-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace Proficiency in using educational technology and virtual learning platforms Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Experience with various assessment tools and progress monitoring techniques Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with families, general education teachers, and specialists remotely Flexibility to adapt teaching methods for a virtual environment Strong time management and organizational skills
Desired:
Experience with inclusionary practices in a virtual setting
Familiarity with social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies
Background in serving English Language Learners with special needs
