**Job Description**:


Join our team of Southwest Airlines Flight Attendants and be a part of the heart that connects us all. Our Flight Attendants are essential to providing a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable travel experience for our passengers. Your day-to-day role will involve all aspects of cabin management, from safety demonstrations to customer service and conflict resolution.


**Responsibilities**:


– Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers aboard flights


– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks and coordinate with the cockpit crew


– Demonstrate emergency and safety procedures


– Provide food and beverages to passengers


– Respond to passenger inquiries and concerns with a high level of customer service


– Manage in-flight sales and service delivery


– Administer and coordinate in-flight medical care if required


– Maintain a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and the operation of emergency equipment


**Requirements**:


– Minimum age of 21 years


– High school diploma or GED equivalent; higher education is advantageous


– Ability to reach overhead storage compartments and operate emergency exits and equipment


– Fluency in English; bilingual or multilingual is a plus


– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays


– Must pass a rigorous training program


– Able to submit to a background check and drug screening


– Legally authorized to work in the United States


– Possess a valid passport


– Physically fit to meet the demands of the job


**Educational Qualifications**:


– High school diploma or GED required


– Further credentials in hospitality, communication, or customer service preferred


**Experience**:


– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation is highly valued but not mandatory


– Experience in handling emergencies and first aid will be advantageous
