Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (Flexible scheduling within these hours)
Company Overview:
We seek a detail-oriented Verification Specialist to join our team on a 1099 contractor basis. Our company provides comprehensive revenue cycle management services across multiple states, and we are looking for a skilled professional familiar with the verification processes in various states. This is a remote position with flexible hours, allowing you to manage your work within our business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct verification of insurance coverage for patients across multiple states.
- Accurately input and update verification information in the system.
- Communicate with insurance companies and healthcare providers to resolve verification issues.
- Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and guidelines during the verification process.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Work closely with billing and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in insurance verification, particularly across multiple states, is required.
- Strong understanding of various state-specific insurance regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with revenue cycle management is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
