What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Respond to customer inquiries with courtesy and professionalism via phone and other channels
Clarify customer needs, answer inquiries, and assist in resolving concerns
Maintain a high level of knowledge about water and wastewater utility operations
Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records
Continuously improve skills in customer service and communication
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related customer service environment
High school diploma or state-recognized Educational Equivalency Certificate
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient typing and personal computing skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in a call center environment
Familiarity with customer service techniques, including empathy and relationship building
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
