Job Summary
Prep Academy Tutors of Boulder is accepting applications for elementary through high-school math tutors. For high-school math, we are looking for tutors with a Ph.D. or Master's degree and many year of teaching experience. For elementary and middle-school math, we are looking tutors with a Master's degree and many years of experience teaching a particular grade or subject (For example, fourth-grade math or algebra.)
?? Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of state of Colorado curriculum
?? Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote greater understanding of material
?? Provide remedial and enrichment support for students
?? Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress
?? Provide a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student

Requirements
Qualified applicants have a bachelor's degree and meet at least one of the following criteria:
?? Possess a valid Colorado Teachers License or the equivalent
?? Current student teacher who is pursuing a teaching certificate
?? Two or more years of experience as a classroom teacher in a private or charter school
?? Experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. university or college
?? Master's/Ph.D student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. university or college
