Champlain College Online (CCO) is seeking a driven and innovative Associate Director of Marketing to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Marketing and Enrollment Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our enrollment marketing strategies and achieving our operational and strategic goals. This role offers full remote flexibility, making it accessible to candidates from any state within the U.S.

As the Associate Director of Marketing, you will be at the forefront of CCO's efforts to expand its enrollment and reach a broader audience. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around digital campaign management, content creation and distribution, and marketing operations and project management. By collaborating with internal and external partners, you will drive awareness and demand generation for CCO's academic offerings and ensure a student-centric experience throughout the enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Campaign Management
  • Create, implement, and maintain multi-channel enrollment campaigns
  • Utilize digital media to build awareness and demand generation for CCO's academic offerings; devise strategies to grow interest and engagement among target audiences
  • Work directly with external partners in the execution of digital campaigns
  • Analyze data to determine the optimal digital strategies to reach, inform, and influence our target audiences; provide regular reporting and insights on digital and enrollment marketing initiatives across media channels, platforms, and campaigns
Content
  • Act as chief copy editor; ensure adherence to style and brand guidelines
  • Plan and implement internal and external communications plans
  • Develop an online content strategy that creates value by leveraging digital trends, market research, and the promotion of new academic offerings ensuring relevance for target audiences
  • Oversee the full content creation process from ideation through to publishing and execution; establish and maintain editorial and content calendars, QA and proofing processes
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy and oversee the

  • Coordinate locations, staffing, technology, photography/videography for enrollment marketing purposes
Project Management & Marketing Operations
  • Oversee and manage marketing projects from ideation through completion including the management of project documentation, timelines, communications, and reporting
  • Maintain productivity tools such as project management software, shared calendars, tasks boards, editorial calendars, and reporting dashboards
  • Vendor management; serve as the liaison between Champlain College Online (CCO) and external vendors and partners, building and overseeing relationships
  • Use a project management approach for implementing enrollment-focused initiatives
  • Collaborate with partners on new and existing revenue-generating initiatives, keeping initiatives on track and on budget
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and shared team resources
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing communications or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams and external vendors preferred
  • At least one year of project management experience; PMP preferred but not required
  • Master's Degree(s) in an appropriate discipline is preferred, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable skills could be acquired
  • Demonstrated proficiency with project management and outcomes reporting tools, and Google suite
  • Demonstrated experience with digital marketing tactics, strategies, tools, and platforms
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing skills and highly effective communicator
  • Demonstrated commitment towards diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Higher education experience is preferred but not required
  • SalesForce proficiency is preferred but not required
  • Experience in video production preferred but not required
