Job Overview: Tutoring 7-year-old in reading and math



RESPONSIBILITIES

• Get to know the student and employ creative ways to teach and engage the him/her.


• Ability to empathize with student and show ways help organize their thoughts on paper.


• Ability to encourage student as they improve their reading, writing and reading comprehension skills.


• Use Tutor Doctor Platform to plan create lessons plans and post-session reports for our office and families within twenty-four hours of each tutoring session


• Effectively balance tutoring hours given for each assigned student


• Successfully and professionally teach students to fit their individual needs


• Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests


• Follow-up with office when a student??s enrollment package is low on hours


• Candidates must only service students whose needs meet theirs

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred


• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus


• Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry


• Be able to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session (lesson plan)


• Having a personality that is suited for different types of students


• Strong administration skills


• Strong typing, PC and recording skills


• Reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must


• Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone
